Tangle is an MPC-as-a-service restaking blockchain infrastructure empowering cross-chain and zero-knowledge applications development.

Tangle natively supports various multi-party computation primitives and zero-knowledge proving services that facilitate the development of new applications, particularly in the privacy-preserving space. From threshold signature schemes that target most blockchain ecosystems to zero-knowledge proving services, the network facilitates a core infrastructure for any ZK or signature based application across multiple ecosystems.

Tangle's restaking system is directly integrated into its MPC-as-a-Service infrastructure. Validators can restake directly on the set of roles available to them in the runtime, with each role representing an eligible service. This mechanism incentivizes validators to provide high-quality MPC services by rewarding them with TNT. Restakers and their delegates earn fees for all jobs completed and programmatic slashing allows malicious behavior to be caught and reported to maintain crypto-economic security.
