As outlined in Web3 Foundation’s precursor to thisbountyproposal, we were one of many agencies approached withthe challenge to evolve Polkadot’s brand to meet the needsof its growing network. The opportunity to work on such aprominent project like Polkadot is one thing; the possibility tobring blockchain principles and technology into the brandingprocess itself took our excitement to a whole new level. Utilisingon-chain governance, treasury, tokens, and the blockchainnetwork is a novel approach that sparks our imagination ofhow business can be conducted on a decentralised internet.  

As new networks are tapping into Polkadot, its co-founder sees a high-stakes battleground forming over privacy and security.

"You want to create a system which is upgradable which can adapt to new technologies if you want to be able to stay one step ahead of the curve," says Rob Habermeier, who joins The Scoop host Frank Chaparro for a discussion on how exactly DeFi fits into Polkadot, where he sees privacy and security headed, and the hurdles that Polkadot's so-called 'parachains' face in 2022.  

This week the tables are turned on Relay Chain, with Jorrin Bruns (Support Engineer, Parity Technologies) interviewing co-host Joe Petrowski (Technical Integrations Lead, Web3 Foundation) as a guest representing his contribution to the Statemint/Statemine project. Statemine — Kusama’s version of Polkadot’s Statemint — is a common-good parachain for creating and managing assets and NFTs on-chain. It recently made history as the first live, featureful parachain to be onboarded to Kusama. Now that Statemine has been made permissionless, anyone can use it to create and deploy tokens and NFTs.  

This guide is divided into 9 parts.These 9 parts are ordered in level of conceptual difficulty (Beginner  Advanced). Each part covers multiple functionalities of Polkadot-JS Apps. Each part will be published as it becomes available (i.e non-linearly).  

Shiden Network token (SDN) was distributed to crowdloan participants on July 28th. And the distributed token is not transferable as you can see below.

As a result of the summer Kusama crowdloans, Robonomics reached the Top-10 projects of the Polkadot ecosystem. Before the next wave of auctions, the project’s developers decided to deploy and maintain a functionally identical network — Frontier Relay chain, that will be integrated with Robonomics parachain.  

Polkadot is the only protocol that fits the bill of a blockchain project providing enhanced scalability, speed, security, and utilization, said Peter Mauric – the head of public affairs at Parity Technologies.

In an interview with CryptoPotato, Mauric outlined Polkadot’s advantages over Ethereum and spoke about the project’s parachains.
